We recognize that promoting diversity in work styles and employment is one of the most important issues indispensable for improving our corporate value over the medium to long term. We will continue to strengthen our measures to secure human resources with diverse perspectives and create an environment in which they can play an active role.

Promotion of women to managerial positions to promote women's activities

As of March 31, 2024, only 8.3% of management positions are held by women, but we are working toward our goal of 30% women in management positions in order to promote our business from diverse perspectives. We will continue to actively promote capable women to management positions, including mid-career hires.

Recruitment and promotion of professional human resources and non-Japanese to management positions through mid-career hiring

In line with the expansion of our group's business, we are actively hiring and promoting career personnel with experience in product development, production engineering, web marketing, IT, and overseas business, which are fields with a high degree of specialization. In addition, we are hiring and promoting foreign nationals to management positions to support our overseas business and domestic inbound business. In the future, we will further focus on the appointment of new graduates to management positions.

Reforming Work Styles to Achieve Health Management

As part of our efforts to promote diversity, we encourage male employees to take childcare leave to create an environment in which it is easy to work while raising children. In addition, through a review of our post-retirement continuous employment system, we will create an environment in which senior human resources aged 60 and above can play an even more active role. We are also promoting investment in the health of our employees, and Kotobuki Seika and Keisii Corporation have been certified as Health Management Corporations 2022 (Small and Medium Enterprises Division), and Keisii Corporation has been certified as a Health Management Corporation 2023 (Small and Medium Enterprises Division).

Promoting unique human resource development through "co-cultivation"

The Minebea Group offers a variety of training programs for different types of jobs and job levels. Particular emphasis is placed on training to instill our management philosophy. In addition, we have a "sibling system" in which a senior employee is assigned as a full-time mentor for the first six months after joining the company. The program aims not only to provide detailed support to newly hired employees, but also to enable senior employees to experience growth through mentoring junior employees.
