We have been using horse chestnut for many years as an ingredient of Tochimochi. Tochin seeds contain saponins and polyphenols. We are conducting research on the health functions of these components.

Tadeai (hereafter referred to as indigo) has long been used as a dye material for indigo dyeing. On the other hand, it has also been used in folk medicine and as a food ingredient such as tade-zu in some parts of Japan. We are conducting research on the health functions of tade-ai, focusing on its polyphenol components.
